When God Speaks, Part 4: Culture :: 7/17/22

John Driver continues the series by focusing upon a tricky aspect of hearing the voice of God through the role of the culture around us. As Paul reveals in his interactions with the philosophers and thinkers of ancient Athens (Acts 15), there is a path of wisdom leading to the beauty, engagement, and gracious plan of God, even in situations or things not necessarily made or intended to glorify Him. Since every good and perfect gift comes from Him, we can rest in the fact that all truth is God’s truth— and that even when we can’t figure out where God is, we can be confident that He is still with us.
