Psalm 100:1-5 (NLT): 1 A psalm of thanksgiving. Shout with joy to the LORD, all the earth! 2 Worship the LORD with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy. 3 Acknowledge that the LORD is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. 5 For the LORD is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.

Psalm 100:1 (NLT): A psalm of thanksgiving. Shout with joy to the LORD, all the earth!

  • What I see, what I experience, what I choose to participate in affects my internal being, therefore driving the heart to Joy!

Psalm 96:11 (NLT): "Let the heavens be glad, and the earth rejoice! Let the sea and everything in it shout his praise!"

Isaiah 55:12 (NLT): “You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands!”

  • The mountains and the hills and the fields, and the trees constantly are expressing their joy, when we look upon them, it is being expressed. It is a continual state of being.

Romans 1:20 (NLT): “For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.”

John 4:24 (NLT): “For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”

  • A life of worship comes from a heart filled with joy and gratitude. It's not about the volume of our shout but the authenticity of our joy!

  • Our life expression should be characterized by joy and gladness because we are in the presence of our Creator.

  • “Shout with joy” is more than just an encouragement to raise our voices; it is a call to express the deepest joy that comes from knowing and experiencing God.

  • "Joy does not simply happen to us. We have to choose joy and keep choosing it every day." - Henri Nouwen

  • "The very essence of joy in this life is to live in the Spirit of God." - Billy Graham
