1) Engaging with Individuals
2) Engaging in Nature
Psalm 19:1-2 (NLT) “The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known.”
3) Engaging in Private Time with God
Matthew 6:6 (NLT) But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.
Feed your soul, with an active pursuit of becoming a fully developed follower of Christ.
Be the GOAT!
What is wrong with saying, “I am going to be the goat of following Christ in His ways doing them well?”
Romans 6:1-2 (NLT) Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it?
1 John 2:1 (NLT) My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous.
PRACTICE
Philippians 4:9 (NLT) Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.
To be the goat, you have to practice, then participate, then perform! Then have practice, then participate, then perform...
You never know the level to which you have achieved until you have participated and performed!
Matthew 7:24-25 (NIV) Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.
