Gods Covenant
John 3:16-17 (NLT) 16 For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. 17 God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.
Nicodemus, Zacchaeus, the Samaritan woman, Peter, Paul, all knew Messiah/Savior was to come.
Ezekiel 36:26-27 (NLT) And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.
2 Corinthians 3:16-18 (NLT) But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.
Transformation is a complete and radical change in a person's heart, mind, and life through the power of God’s grace, truth, and Spirit. It is not just a surface-level improvement but a deep, inner renewal that aligns a person with God's will.
Romans 12:2 (NLT) Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT) This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
Galatians 2:20 (NLT) My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Philippians 1:6 (NLT) And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.
Lord, we surrender our hearts, our minds, and our lives to You. Renew us daily, shaping us into the image of Your Son. Transform our thoughts so that they align with Your truth. Transform our hearts so that they overflow with Your love. Transform our lives so that we reflect Your glory to the world around us.Teach us to trust in the finished work of the cross—not in our own strength, not in our own goodness, but in the power of Your grace.
