Youth & Kids Director

Meet Jake Lampton, the Youth & Kids Director at the Church at Pleasant Grove! Jake is from Hendersonville, TN and he attended Lipscomb University. Despite looking like he could still be in high school, he's actually pushing 30! Jake is an avid sports fan who loves the Yankees, Hoosiers, Titans, and (Much to the majority of the staff and the entire state of Tennessee’s chagrin) the Florida Gators. His real passion, though, is connecting with and leading kids and teenagers of all ages. His love for Jesus, people, and meeting kids & students where they are overflows into every aspect of his life. He is an Enneagram 2, so his greatest joy is helping those around him. Jake is married to the love of his life, Abby, and they share their home with the two other loves of his life (their dogs), Billie and Jeter. When he’s not at The Grove, you will probably find him attending students' games and band concerts, playing PS5, or watching the Titans (unfortunately) lose. An interesting fact about Jake: He has an uncanny resemblance to Robert Irwin (Seriously, look it up… It’s crazy).
