PSALM 100 - FOR THE LORD IS GOOD
Psalm 100 [NLT]: 1 Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth! 2 Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy. 3 Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. 5 For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.
"For the Lord is good.” in His very essence. Everything God does is an expression of His goodness toward us and for us!
"His mercy (Love) is everlasting." Mercy (love) is God's compassion and kindness toward us, despite our shortcomings and sins. It is a defining characteristic of God’s relationship toward us.
How do I respond the Goodness and Mercy are everlasting?
Cultivating gratitude
I look to bring kindness and mercy into my life in all situations!
I trust God in difficult times!
I express to Him my joyfulness with singing and worship!
I attempt to live the one anothers of scripture!
I live with the purpose that life in Christ matters!
Psalm 106:1-5 [NLT] 1 Praise the LORD! Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. 2 Who can list the glorious miracles of the LORD? Who can ever praise him enough? 3 There is joy for those who deal justly with others and always do what is right. 4 Remember me, LORD, when you show favor to your people; come near and rescue me. 5 Let me share in the prosperity of your chosen ones. Let me rejoice in the joy of your people; let me praise you with those who are your heritage.
