FAITHFUL TO EACH GENERATION

[Psalm 100 NLT] 1 Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth! 2 Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy. 3 Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. 5 For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.

GENERATIONS:

• In this life we live there is hope and assurance - not just for us but to all generations and people!

  • The Greatest Generation: 1901–1927

  • The Silent Generation:  1928–1945

  • Baby Boom Generation: 1946–1964

  • Generation X: 1965–1980

  • Millennial Generation or Gen Y: 1981–1996

  • Generation Z or iGen: 1997–2010

  • Generation Alpha:  2010-2024

FAITHFULNESS:

• God's promises are trustworthy and reliable. He never goes back on His word.

Joshua 21:45 (NLT) "Not a single one of all the good promises the Lord had given to the family of Israel was left unfulfilled; everything he had spoken came true.”

• God is faithful:  Love, Protection, Provision, Forgiveness, Guidance, Presence, Healing,  Justice, Discipline, Comfort, Salvation...

BUILD A LEGACY OF FAITH:

• Strive for cross-generational understanding, acceptance, tolerance and respect!

• Know that generations before you, and behind, you have something to offer!

• Invest in the spiritual growth of the next generation and the people around you. 

• Share testimonies of God's faithfulness with your family and community.

• Encourage family and community to trust in God’s enduring faithfulness.
