Miracles & Healing (8/4/24)

  • SEEK JESUS FIRST

    • In times of illness or distress, our first response should be to turn to Jesus. Just as the crowds sought Him out, we should seek His presence through prayer and worship, knowing that He is compassionate and willing to heal us.

  • EXERCISE FAITH

    • Let us cultivate a strong faith in Jesus’ ability to heal. This means trusting Him even when the situation looks bleak and holding onto His promises. Faith is the key that unlocks the door to divine intervention.

  • PURSUE WHOLENESS

    • Seek not just physical restoration but also emotional, mental, and spiritual healing. Allow Jesus to touch every area of your life, bringing His peace and wholeness.

  • TRUST GOD’S TIMING

    • Sometimes, healing is immediate, while other times, it takes longer. Trust in God’s perfect timing and His sovereign plan for your life. He knows what is best for you and will bring about your healing in His way and in His time.Embrace Transformation:

  • Allow God’s work in my life to transform me completely.   Just as the blind man’s sight was restored, seek spiritual transformation that reveals Jesus as the light of your world.

  • In John 9:1-12: Mud in your eyes

  • Jesus is always present in the space that needed the miracle.

  • Christ has compassion toward us in the midst of the crisis

    • (Matthew 14:14 NLT) 14 Jesus saw the huge crowd as he stepped from the boat, and he had compassion on them and healed their sick.

  • Christ intervening in our life in spaces that we desire is never on our timetable!

    • (John 11:21 NLT) And when his sister Martha heard that Jesus was on His way, she went out to meet Him and said, “Lord, if only you had been here, my brother would not have died”

  • As we recognize divine purpose, practice obedience, cultivate faith, and embrace transformation, we position ourselves to experience God’s incredible power in our lives.

  • The underlying element of healing in my life is that, in the midst of the circumstance, Jesus & life in Christ’s ways is at the center, always!
